Wayne Harris is a retired U.S. Army Chaplain (MAJOR). He was born in Asheville, NC in 1952. He has a BS in Business Administration and a Masters of Divinity (MDIV) in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married and lives in San Antonio, Texas.

He has hosted two radio programs. The first was "The Motivation Show" and the second "Chaplain America! For truth, mercy and the biblical way." He is also a Desert Storm veteran and a lifetime member of the VFW.

He has traveled around the globe, loves history and believes in being involved with the issues of the day. He has pastored churches in and out of the military.

Chaplain America focuses on issues affecting the nation in areas of morality, religion and free expression of religion. Issues affecting Americans and those around the globe are tackled head on with the perspective of one with experience in church and state issues.

As freedoms erode in the USA, Chaplain America motivates thought and action. The program supports and defends a conservative Christian point of view. It is a forum to deal with issues that are often pushed aside or given little play.
